Thank you for using UMRATECH applications. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection, use, and protection across all our apps. We take your privacy very seriously and have designed our apps with privacy as a core principle.

What Information Do We Collect?

We prioritize your privacy. Core features work locally, but optional features may require data collection.

Most of our apps' core features (like reading Quran, Hadith, or checking prayer times) are designed to function entirely on your device without collecting personal data. However, if you choose to use optional features like cloud backups, community discussions, or cross-device syncing, we may collect information such as your email address (for account creation), profile information, and the content you choose to sync or post. For apps that provide prayer times, we may request access to your location; this data is processed locally on your device to calculate accurate prayer times and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information with trusted service providers that operate infrastructure and security on our behalf, or when required by law.

Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

If you use features that require an account, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in regions where our service providers operate.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases.

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. By using our apps, you represent that you are at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to their use of the app.

What Are Your Privacy Rights?

You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time by logging into your account settings or contacting us. You can also revoke location access through your device settings.

European Economic Area Residents

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share your information for direct marketing purposes.

Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (DNT) feature. Since we do not track your browsing activities across third-party websites, DNT settings do not generally affect how our apps operate.

Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may collect their own analytics and usage data according to their privacy policies.

Payment Processing

For premium subscriptions, all payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment information, billing details, or transaction history. Please refer to Apple's and Google's privacy policies for information about how they handle payment data.

How Can You Review, Update, or Delete Data We Collect?

If you have created an account, you can delete it directly from within the app settings. For apps without accounts, all data is stored locally and can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through your device settings.
